Wally was found in captivity in a gift shop in Alice Springs, Australia. It was very sad to see there were many other wombats in captivity.

However, Wally was set free August 4, 2005, by caring tourists, allowing him to pursue a more normal wombat life with his new friends. Herein you will find Wally's adventures.
